Jewelry Care

To keep your jewelry shining, here are some simple tips on how to care for your pieces and keep your jewelry in perfect condition. DIAMOURA will not be responsible for refunding or replacing items that are broken as a result of misuse, dropping or user error. Our jewelry is made from different materials that have been carefully selected to ensure a longer lifespan and provide great ability to maintain it in its best shape and quality because we want our jewelry to last for many years!

Our jewelry is made of 925 silver, pure copper, and 316L stainless steel. This jewelry is very sturdy and good quality. However, it is advised not to wear them while bathing or exercising, as these minerals can interact with water and salts on the body, leading to a change in their shine and purity. This jewelry can oxidize over time if not taken care of properly. It's a normal reaction. To slow the process, remove your jewelry before showering and intense exercise as moisture and sweat speed up the oxidation process (silver reacts with moisture and chemicals in the air such as sulfur, and also reacts with chemicals and moisture on our skin from cosmetics and perfumes). . Chemicals such as chlorine and salt can damage silver so avoid wearing them while swimming. Always remove necklaces before bed and avoid storing them in humid environments such as the bathroom. We also have high quality brass accessories that are handcrafted to a high degree for customer satisfaction and must be taken care of as well.

Jewelry stays at its best when worn daily or kept in a dry, airtight box or bag. To clean up any tarnish, simply polish with a soft cloth to restore the silver color. Regular use of a silver cloth removes mild tarnish and prevents re-tarnishing, prolonging the silver's original brilliance. If you don't have a silver cloth to hand a microfiber cloth is perfect. To keep the matte finish clean, wash gently with warm soapy water. Make sure it is completely dry before returning it to its box or airtight bag for storage. Avoid overusing the polishing cloth as it may remove the matte finish (if necessary, just scrub gently or use a microfiber cloth). Matte surfaces are treated so that they fade naturally with wear (becoming glossier over time). It is possible to place the jewelry in its own box with some drying bags that help absorb moisture.
Our jewelry is made of high quality, hypoallergenic materials.

We are always striving to improve where we can. We avoid harsh chemicals as much as possible in our jewelry making processes.
